Volksrust, Greater Fortis.
"Mister Schmidt i implore you to hear me out on this." It was the voice of Kevin Fitzpatrick; it was worried of course. It always had to be worried with neighbors like they possessed. The populist was not a coward but he wasn't keen to go gallivanting off towards any old conflict. "We have to be very careful in the coming weeks in how we pursue this issue. Our navy progresses and our army trains but the region is becoming destabilized by the squabbling next door it's beginning to make our people nervous."
The PM folded his hands while he sat behind his heavy oak desk in deep thought for a moment. He wondered how they ended up in this situation; though he honestly knew the answer and it was that people never truly learned their lesson. Jan Schmidt's eyes rose toward the two occupants of his office in the capital of Volksrust. With a sharp and sudden breath he flattened his palms against the table.
"It is obvious we have to choose a course of action and it may be one that we will not enjoy taking. I trust in both of your opinions on this matter and it is my personal belief that this action is justified in the eyes of the world. Mister Fitzpatrick you will be leaving shortly."
The General sitting in one of the plain chairs across from the heavy desk seemed to shift uncomfortably with the sudden idea that maybe he had been forgotten in all of this. Schmidts hand raised to calm the man. "General De Klark i expect you will accompany Mister Fitzpatrick on this peace mission?"
A quiet nod was cut off by the continuing voice of the man PM who continued to make a very delicate decision. "It is to my understanding that we must pursue peace at all costs for the sake of our region not drawing any attention from the vultures that loom.." With the ending of this meeting the messengers would head immediately to Woodall Barracks and to other mobilization points through the nation calling it's regular army to orders to be sent to the border it shared with it's two neighbors.
